Initial situation
Today, tools must not only be functional and durable, but must also demonstrate environmental responsibility. WEICON sought to develop a range of tools that is sustainable, robust and of high quality, without compromising on ease of use or performance. At the same time, the tools were to be manufactured in a resource-efficient manner and be as recyclable as possible.

Material solution
The WEICON TOOLS Green Line is based on TECNARO’s bio-based ARBOBLEND® materials, which consist of up to 97 % renewable raw materials. These materials combine high mechanical stability, dimensional stability and robust surfaces with an excellent environmental footprint.

Thanks to these material properties, the tools can be manufactured efficiently whilst also being recyclable, which reduces the environmental impact. In terms of quality, durability and robustness, the Green Line tools are in no way inferior to the established WEICON TOOLS classics.
